Judith Anne Hayes Newkirk, age 85, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at the Sarah Winn Home, Mt. Sterling, KY.  Judith was born November 10, 1940, in Mt. Sterling to the late Vernal and Eulah Donahue Hayes.  Judith retired from Traditional Bank as a Bank Officer.  Judith loved her family and especially enjoyed their game nights. She was a dedicated UK basketball fan.  She loved her Reid Village Baptist church family and and dedicated 55+ years to the Children's Bible Drill program.

Judith is survived by 2 daughters: Lovetta Newkirk of Mt. Sterling and Nancy Gaye of Mt. Sterling; her son Chuck (Lana) Newkirk of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren: Leslie Smith, Paul Smith, Chas Newkirk and Elizabeth Newkirk; great grandchildren: Paizley Smith, Paige Smith, Javi Lemos, Juliana Lemos and Maya Newkirk; and 2 sisters Mary Montgomery and Carol Webb.

Other than her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her granddaughter Hannah Newkirk.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. May 16th at the Reid Village Baptist Church, 1957 Winchester Road.  Officiating will be Brother Todd Wiley.  Friends & Family can visit from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
