James Robert 'Khaki" Jackson, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was an 87 year old native of Montgomery County, born to the union of the late William and Eliza Bruton Jackson, a former custodian and member of High Street Christian Church.
James is survived by 3 special nieces; Wanda Scott, Linda Ashby and Jackie Hayden, 1 nephew; Johnny Greene, a host of great-nieces and great-nephews, and his best friends; Booker T. and Violet George.
A graveside service will be conducted from 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 27 at Olive Hill Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Hayden presiding.
