James Thomas Pieratt

James Thomas Pieratt ,82, husband, of Marilynn Pieratt, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020.  J.T. was born April 12, 1938 in Bonny, Kentucky.  He was the son of Hollie and Margrett Pieratt and father of Jamie Mattingly.  

J.T. is survived by his wife, daughter and 3 granddaughters, Lexie, Ashley and Hannah Mattingly,  He is also survived by 3 brothers, Kenneth, Hollie and Bobby, 3 sisters, Betty, Bonnie and Lauretta and his stepmother, Juanita Pieratt.  Also surviving are 10 nephews and 6 nieces.  He was predeceased by both parents and a sister, Janas Little.

Services will be held September 4, 2020 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals in Mt. Sterling.  Visitation will be held from 12-2:00 Friday with funeral service at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be held at Ezel Cemetery with Delbert Coffey officiation.
