James N. "Wimpy" (Jim) Pierce

James N. (Jim) Pierce “Wimpy,” husband of Debbie Pugh Pierce, passed away Saturday, February 24th, 2024. He was a 72 year old native of Montgomery County, born to the late William "Bo" and Mary Katherine "Kaye" Pierce. Jim owned and operated the business he founded many years ago, Custom Machining, INC. He was a vibrant man who devoted all he had to his family, friends and business. He also shared a great love for classic cars and guns with his many friends and family members.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kelly Pierce and Sarah Pierce (Mike Harvey) of Mt. Sterling, KY; three wonderful grandchildren, Luke Pierce, Katie Howell and Aubree Harvey; two bonus grandchildren, Emma and Morgan Howell; a brother, John Pierce; along with two special nieces, Elizabeth "Nina" Sorrell and Keisha Charles.

His funeral will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2024 at Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the funeral home.
