James Lawrence Taul Sr.

James Lawrence Taul Sr., was born August 31, 1947 in Bath County, Kentucky.  He was the youngest child of the late Harold Estill and Eva Fletcher Taul.  He was a graduate of Montgomery County High School in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.  While attending High School James was a great athlete in football.  After graduation he was employeed at Hobart Industries in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.

He leaves to mourn two brothers, Harold (Doris) Taul Jr. and Oliver D. Taul, a sister, Shirley (Wendell) Jones of Dayton, Ohio, 3 sons, James (Kimberly) Taul Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Vittorio Martin and Ryan Jones, 2 daughters, Natalie L. Taul and Alicia Darnell, his loving friend and fiance for many years, Mary Ann Hyde, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Taul, and 2 sisters, Dorothy Taul and Mary Rae Taul.

His funeral will be 12:00 Saturday, July 17, 2021 at High Street Christian Church, Rev. Darrell Haydon presiding, with burial in Olive Hill Cemetery.  Visitation is 11-12:00 Saturday at the church.  Masks are requested.  Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals is entrusted with arrangements.  Pallbearers are  Michael Taul, Darrin Taul, Kendall Taul, Lawrence Hines, Michael Darnell, Wendell Jones Jr. and Hobert Owens.  Honorary pallbearers are Charles Scott and Charlie Bill Owens.
