Jerry Wayne Elliott

Jerry Wayne Elliott, 70, of Findlay, Ohio passed away at his residence with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. He was born in Jeffersonville, Kentucky on October 2, 1952 the son of the late Clyde and Lena (Atkins) Elliott. On April 9, 1982 he married  Rosa Hughes and she survives in Findlay.

Survivors include his sons, Jamie (Marlena) Elliott, of Fostoria, and Derrick (Ashley) Elliott, of Findlay. Four grandchildren, Brittany, Jerrett, Bennett, and Cameron, and four great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Jayden, Ezrielle, and Octavia. Two sisters, Bonnie (Grady) Watkins, of Jerseyville, Ill, and Sue (Morris) Baker, Mt. Sterling, KY. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers; Herman, Ivan, Robert, Danny, Gary and David, along with three sisters; Josaphene, Dixie and Alma.

Jerry retired in 2013 from the Whirlpool Corporation in Findlay where he was a supervisor in the dish rack department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing,and golf. He also was a fan of the University of Kentucky in all sports, but his true love was his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with Elders Arthur, Roger and Charles McGuire presiding, burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed towards the Bridge Home, Health, and Hospice.
