John Michael Stone

John Michael Stone, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019.  He was a 63 year old native of Dayton, Ohio, born to the union of William Stone and the late Erma Rankin Stone, and a member of Rolling Hills Church of Christ.

In addition to his father, he is survived by 2 sisters, Sharon (Chris Creamer) Stone and Patricia Jackson, both of Columbus, Ohio, a brother, Billy Carroll  of Mt. Sterling, 2 nephews, Shaun Maxwell of Columbus, Ohio and Ryan Jackson of Troutman, North Carolina, 2 nieces, Jessica Jackson and Renee Jackson, both of Troutman, North Carolina, and a great-nephew, Isaac Jackson of Troutman, North Carolina.

His funeral will be 10:00 Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Dan Murphy presiding, with burial in Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation is 5-8:00 Friday.
