Jonathan Douglas Garner, husband of Pam Garner, of Jeffersonville, KY passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was a 62 year old born in Clark County to the union of the late Douglas and Rilla Walters Garner, a retired engineer and member of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Garner, 2 children; Jessica Cooley (Billy) and Jonathan D. Garner Jr., a step daughter; Krissy Little (Mike), 5 grandchildren; Michael Little, Jordan Little, Torie Little, Chelsea Stull and Skyla Davis, 2 great grandchildren; Madeline Brooks and Emerleigh Stull, 2 brothers; Gary Garner (Vicki) and Joseph Garner, 2 sisters; Pam Teegarden (Bill) and Cathy Murphy (Mike), as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jonathan was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Thacker.
His funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Steve McGuire presiding with burial to follow in McGuire Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Jonathan Garner, Jr., Christopher Garner, Michael Little, Jordan Little, Michael Justice and Jordan Harvey.
