Joseph Reed was born December 4,1977. He prematurely passed June 26, 2021. Joey is a Montgomery County High School graduate, Class of 1997. Joey never met a stranger, everyone he met was a friend. In his 24 years working at UPS, Joey touched the lives of hundreds if not thousands of others. He greeted every customer with his trademark smile and a genuine “How’s it going?”. As important as his job and recreation were to him, above all Joey was a kind, caring, loving father to his five children. He was a very involved and hands on father. Joey was also a true outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, boating, traveling, grilling and anything that involves nature. He spent his free time fishing for Muskie, being a Muskie guide, hunting, and having fun on the lake. Joey leaves behind family, several close friends, and a heart broken community. He was preceded in death by his father, Vincil Reed, and grandparents: Frank and Mildred Reed and Cleo and Dolly Strange. He is survived by his children: Canaan,18; Callie,17; Mylee,12; Maddox,9; Trapp,7. He is also survived by his mother Kathy Reed; his brother Justin Reed; two nephews, Jackson and Forrest Reed.
