KAREN (GILVIN) VANCE

Karen Gilvin Vance, age 77 , of Mount Sterling, Kentucky passed away at her home on September 02, 2026. She was born on November 02, 1948, to the union of the late William and Lena Conley Gilvin.

Karen is survived by one daughter, Kristen Poe; two grandchildren, Karen Baker and Shane Jones; and one brother, Billy Wayne (Norma) Gilvin all of Mount Sterling, KY; one nephew, Brandon (Lisa Hale) Gilvin of Lexington, KY; two nieces, Amanda Gilvin (Samrat Bose) of Boston, Massachusetts; and Jane Gilvin (Jennifer Lav) of Washington D.C.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 09, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals Chapel.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Officiating will be Reverend Brandon Gilvin.
