KENNETH GEORGE

Kenneth George, age 82, of Jeffersonville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, January 13, 2025.  Kenneth was born November 19, 1942 to the union of the late Charlie and Ethel George.  Kenneth was a hard working cattle farmer.  He was blessed with a large family and dedicated his life to taking care of them.  Kenneth was a member of the Hope First Church of God.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Dorothy Vance George;  5 daughters-Paula Rose of Mt. Sterling, Kimberly Reed of Mt. Sterling, Lori Barnes of Jeffersonville, Karla Spencer of Mt. Sterling, Sarah Raper of Jeffersonville;  1 son Brett Parkhurst of Mt. Sterling;  12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren;  1 sister Edith Wells of Franklin Ohio;  3 brothers-Glen George of Mt. Sterling, Chester George of Orlando, Florida, Morris George of Jeffersonville.

Besides his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by 2 brothers-Oscar George and Earl George.

The funeral service will be Friday, January 17, 12:00 p.m. at the Hope First Church of God, 10272 Hope Means Road, Hope, KY.   Family & Friends can visit Thursday, January 16, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hope First Church of God.  Officiating will be Glenn Sizemore and James Hendrix.

Burial will follow at Machpelah Cemetery, Mt. Sterling.

Pallbearers: Nathan Barnes, Travis Holliday, Kalim Barnes, Adam Reed, Dillin Page, McKenzie Raper, Alex Spencer, Nicholas Spencer, Kolton Parkhurst, Zack Barnes.
