Kathy Thompson (Gibson) Davis

Kathy Thompson Davis, wife of Robert "Bobby" Davis, of Hope, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021.  She was a 74 year old born in Magoffin County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Justice Gibson, a former claims clerk for Walmart and a member of Restoration Community Church. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters, Shelley Thompson-Collins and Jessica Marie (Tony) Wright, a son, Chris (Angie) Thompson, 6 grandchildren, Brandon (Alishia) Curtis, James Blake Soper, Logan (Spencer) Hahn, Xia Thompson, Mareya Wright and McKinley Wright, 7 great-grandchildren, a sister, Marie Moore, 3 brothers, Donnie Gibson, Clinton Munday and Wayne Munday and special friend, Barbara Clark.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Gibson and 2 grandchildren, Joshua Ryan Curtis and Mila Jane Wright.

Her funeral will be 11:30 Monday at Restoration Community church, Pastor Robbie Workman presiding, with burial in Little Slate Cemetery.  Visitation is 5-8:00 Sunday at the church.  Pallbearers are Chris Thompson, Brandon Curtis, Blake Soper, Tim Davis, Nelson Davis and Tony Wright.  Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals is entrusted with arrangements.
