LINDA FAY (JONES) MCFARLAND

Linda Fay Jones McFarland, age 69, of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away in Stanton on Monday, September 28, 2026. Linda was born January 12, 1957, in Menifee County to the late Orville and Pauline Centers Jones. Linda worked as the Manager of the Redmond Apartment Building for 20 years.  

Linda is survived her husband, Jorge Gasperin of Mt. Sterling; 3 sons: Russell (Angel) McFarland of New Jersey, Bradley (Kathryn) McFarland of Lexington and Samuel (Erin) McFarland; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; sisters: Joyce (Jeff) Hudson of Winchester, Princess (Lee) Gadd of Winchester; 4 brothers: Jesse (Rose) Jones of Jeffersonville, Eugene Jones of Menifee, Troy (Eve) Jones of Menifee, Charles (Chasity) Jones of Austin, IN; brother in law Jim Ballard of Jeffersonville.

Other than her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter Esta Pauline McFarland; 3 sisters: Martha Jones, Brenda Jones and Rose Ballard; 3 brothers: Jimmy Jones, Walter Jones and Frankie Jones.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 3rd at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. Officiated by Brother Lee Gadd.
