Lois Jean Bush “aka” Jeannie”, born January 14, 1959, passed away at home at the age of 66 years old.  She was the kind of person who always saw the good in people.  Her heart was so humble and kind that she never knew a stranger.  Everyone who knew her, knew that Lois was a HUGE UK-Wildcat fan and never missed a game!  She was of the Pentecostal faith. 

She is survived by her son Henry LC Bush, Jr.; 8 sisters Tammy Arnett, Loretta Davis (Billy), Arlene Shanks Hopkins (Peanut), Charlotte Shanks-Taylor (Tim), Shella Adams (John), Tina Kitchens, Krystal Shanks, Shellie Shanks; 3 brothers Lewis Shanks, Jr., James Shanks, Michael Shanks; 1 sister in law Eva Shanks and many nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents Louis Shanks, Sr., and Loretta Shanks; 1 sister Linda Young, 2 brothers Sam Shanks and Will Shanks; a niece Sarah Lee Shanks, a sister in law Suzie Shanks and a brother in law Shane Kitchens.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 21 at 11:00 a.m. the Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, February 20 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Herald & Stewart Chapel.  Officiating will be Kenny Sons, Jr.

Pallbearers: Henry LC Bush, Jr., Michael Shanks, James Shanks, Lewis Shanks, Jr., Austin Shanks, Scott Shanks.

Honorary Pallbearers: Bryan Shanks, Garland Hopkins, John Adams.
