Larry Douglas Rogers passed away on February 3, 2022 at his residence in Mt. Sterling, KY. He was a 76 year old native of Montgomery County, born to the union of the late Tespie and Nannie Pearl Bailey Rogers, owner of Rogers Pipe Company and a member of Howard's Mill First Church of God.
Larry is survived by 1 son; Shane Rogers (Yvette), 3 daughters; Kara Morris (Doug), Felicia Ingram (Tony) and Laren Christian (Josh), his special friend; Christy Knox, 6 grandchildren; Andie Rogers (Joe Payton), Cooper Morris, Landon Lawson, Meghan Lawson, Laikin Christian and Talen Christian, 2 great-grandchildren; Elizabeth and Liam, 2 sisters; Virginia Heizer and Margaret Fraysur as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Scott Rogers and Tommy Rogers, and 1 sister; Marie Patrick.
His funeral be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor David Campbell presiding with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
