Lester Clinton Wheeler, husband of Rita Elkins Wheeler, of Jeffersonville, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021. He was a 63 year old born in Michigan to the union of the late Lester Wheeler and Geraldine Perkins Wheeler of Jeffersonville.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Crystal Burks (Keith Brubaker) and Billie (Tim) Bailey, 12 grandchildren, Adriana Burks (Jacob Haddock) , Autumn Burks, Austina Burks, C.J. Burks, Gabrielle Gay, Mylee Gay, Aiden Tillett, Skylar Bailey (Talia Baker), Lucus Bailey, Benjamin Bailey, Elijah Bailey and Travis Bailey, 3 great-grandchildren, Aurya Bailey, Rhyse Bailey and Wyatt Haddock, a brother, James (Kelly) Beckley. and a sister, Brenda (Phillip) Price. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Alex Jordan Burks and 3 brothers, Bill Wheeler, Mike Wheeler and Bob Beckley.

There will be a private celebration of life at a later date. Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals is entrusted with arrangements.
