Linda Gail (Spencer) Hendrix

Linda Gail Spencer Hendrix, widow of Steve Gene Hendrix, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 at her residence in Mt. Sterling. She was a 64 year old native of Montgomery County born to the union of the late Phillip and Dorothy Shelton Spencer, a former employee of The Walker Company and member of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Rachel Bourdon (Douglas) and Stephanie Hendrix, a son; Kevin Hendrix (Melissa), 8 grandchildren; Katie Hendrix, Steven Hendrix, Brian Tuttle, Douglas Bourdon (Rebecca), Tyler Bourdon, Chance Armstrong, Kharson Armstrong and Nolan Armstrong, 4 great-grandchildren; Ethan Bourdon, Liam Bourdon, Sydney Joanis and Jack Joanis, as well as 2 brothers; Ricky Spencer and Daniel Spencer. In addition to her husband and parents, Linda was preceded in death by a sister; Carol Jean Sands.

Her funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Joey Spencer presiding with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
