MILDRED MARIE (DICKERSON) HOLBROOK

Mildred Marie Dickerson Holbrook, age 80, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 16, 2025. Mildred was born August 1, 1945, to the late Lee and Mary Bell Williamson Dickerson in Delbarton, West Virginia.  Mildred dedicated her life to caring for her family and working hard on her gardens and the farm.  She was a member of the Camargo Church of Christ.

Mildred is survived by her loving husband Granville Holbrook Jr. of Mt. Sterling; 1 son Jackie Lee Holbrook of Mt. Sterling; 1 daughter Bernice (Jeff) Spencer of Jeffersonville; 2 grandchildren Tiffany Spencer and Ricky Lee Trimble Jr.; 1 great granddaughter Devyn Kate Booth; 1 sister Lillie Mae (Eugene) Horton of Louisa, KY; 1 brother James Dickerson of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by 8 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Camargo Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals.    Officiating: Robin Meyer and Charles Wills.

Burial will follow at the Holbrook Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Eddie Rice, Stewart Morton, Mark Terry, J.D. Dunaway, Tony Harris, Erik Leverson.
