Dale Wilhoit of Means, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020. He was retired from the Menifee County School District. Dale enjoyed telling stories and picking fun with all his family, friends, and strangers. He had a love of the outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, or watching wildlife. He was a avid fan of UK Basketball.
He was preceded in death by his father, Major Cain Wilhoit. Survivors include his mother, Geneva Peeples (Jim) of Means, one daughter, Alisha Wilhoit of Richmond, KY, a son, Stacy Wilhoit (April) of Owingsville, KY, one sister, Glenda Martin (Ben) of Means, a brother, Mark Wilhoit of Means, one granddaughter, Raeley Ballard of Richmond. Also surviving are two nieces, Brandi Martin of Means, Tori Wilhoit of Lexington, a nephew, Casey Martin (Brooke) of Means, a great-nephew, Mason Peavyhouse, and one great-niece, Mylee Peavyhouse, both of Means.
Visitation is at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals in Mt. Sterling after 12 noon on Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals in Mt. Sterling with Pastor Tim Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at the family cemetery. Pallbearers include: Stacy Wilhoit, Mark Wilhoit, Ben Martin, Casey Martin, Tim Smith, and Billy Day.
