Margaret "Betty" Compton Obituary

Margaret "Betty" Ingram Compton, of Jeffersonville, passed away Sunday, October 20th, 2019. She was a 74 year old native of Menifee County, daughter of the late Robert and Ona Morrison Ingram, a housewife and retired factory worker.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Mack Arthur Compton, 1 son, Robert (Dora) Compton, 2 daughters, Benita Carter and Melanie (Paul) Tabor, 1 brother, Jerry Ingram, and 3 granddaughters, MacKenzie Tabor, Kaylee Compton, and Karlee Compton. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Clyde, Claude, Homer and Hershel Ingram.

Her funeral will be 11:00 Tuesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Scott Barnes presiding, with burial to follow at Lovely Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation is 5:00-8:00pm Monday. Pallbearers will be Dustin Tabor, Thomas Ingram, Todd Ingram, Tim Ingram, Ricky Ingram, Danny Ingram and Wayne Ingram.
