Marlene Reed Trimble, wife of Roy V. Trimble, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at her residence in Jeffersonville, KY. She was a 77 year old born in Montgomery County to the union of the late Edwin and Milly Turner Reed, a former bus monitor and member of Jeffersonville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Roy V. Trimble, 3 daughters; Deborah Lynn Eccles (Wayne), Heather Trimble and Kristin Smith (Dakota), a son; Shane Trimble (Christina), 9 grandchildren; Adam Eccles, Ashley Ratliff, Kelly Jo Fultz, Michael Grapner, Jessica Trimble, Hailey Trimble, Justin Trimble, Hayden Trimble and Hannah Trimble, 9 great grandchildren; Katherine Hatton, Lucas Alexander, Alyssa Adkins, Caden Smith, Christain Smith, Adalynn Smith, Lincoln Smith, Leviticus Smith and Elizabeth Karpensky, a brother; Edwin Reed Jr., a sister; Freda Davis (Ralph), a son-in-law; Joe Grapner, and a sister-in-law; Phyllis Reed. In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her first husband; Daniel Kelly Whitaker, a daughter; Roxanne Whitaker Grapner, a brother; Donnie Reed, and a sister-in-law; Linda Reed.
Her funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2022 at Jeffersonville Baptist Church, Pastors Linville Spangler and John T. Ryder presiding with burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the church.
