Mary Alice (Kuykendall) Smith

Mary Alice Kuykendall Smith, wife of Roy Esteppe, of Jeffersonville, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020.  She was a 72 year old native of Montgomery County born to the union of the late William and Virginia David Kuykendall, former employee of Montgomery County School System and a member of Means Community Church.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Tammy Burke, 2 sons, Glen Smith and Terry Dale Smith, a sister, Gail Wiltrout, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Rocky Smith, and 3 brothers, Bill Whitley, James Monroe and Paul Willoughby.

Her graveside service will by 2:00 Thursday at Catron Cemetery on Route 213, Jeffersonville beside the Spruce Valley Church, Pastor Tommy Evans presiding.  Visitation is 12-2:00 Thursday at the cemetery.  Arrangements are entrusted to Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
