Mary Scruggs Obituary
Mary Opal Scruggs passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling, KY. She was an 82 year old born in Bethel, KY to the union of the late John W. and Loretta Donaldson Scruggs, a homemaker and member of the Methodist Faith.
She is survived by a son, John Scruggs; 2 grandchildren, Dashawn Scruggs and Adryiana Scruggs; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
Her funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Rev. Gary Boyd presiding with burial to follow in Longview Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
