Mary Helen (Barber) Tapp Frazier

Mary Helen Barber Tapp Frazier, widow of John Knox Tapp and Malcolm Frazier, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at West Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was an 88 year old born in Bath County, KY to the late Ernest and Pauline Butcher Barber, a nurse's aid for 21 years, member of the Christian Faith and long-time member of the First Church of God.

She is survived by a son, John Tapp (Tammy); a granddaughter, Brandi Tapp Faulkner (Sam); a great grandchild, Dakota Faulkner; a sister, Linda Huff (Linwell); a special aunt, Louise Tipton; and a niece, Tammy Rutherford. In addition to her husbands and parents, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Dale Barber; and a niece, Becky Barber. 

Her funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Keith Ruthenburg presiding with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Samuel Faulkner, Dakota Faulkner, Tony Tipton, Josh Sexton, Chris Shepherd and James Faulkner. Honorary Pallbearers are Dale Shepherd and Craig Shepherd.
