Obituary

Maudie Iker Parker, widow of Taulbee Parker Jr., of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021.  She was a 90 year old native of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky born to the union of the late Joe and Bertha Iker, a former employee at Trojan Manufacturing, a homemaker and member of Jeffersonville Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Danny (Brenda) Parker, 2 grandchildren, Shannon (Herman) Woosley and Kevin Parker, 6 great-grandchildren, Noah Woosley, Kyle Woosley, J.T. Woosley, Emily Woosley, Brendan Parker and Dillon Parker, and 3 sisters, Mae Rose, Nellie Bellamy and Nettie Centers.

Her funeral will be 1:00 Friday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Gary Willoughby presiding, with burial in Parker Cemetery.  Visitation is 11-1:00 Friday.  Pallbearers are Bob Willoughby, Elgin McVey, Noah Woosley, J.T. Woosley, Brendan Parker and Dillon Parker.  Honorary pallbearers are Kyle Woosley and Emily Woosley.
