Mildred Estep Saylor, widow of Charles Saylor, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at her residence in Morehead, Kentucky. She was a 78 year old born in Harlan County to the union of the late James and Louella Branson Estep, a homemaker and member of Faith Pentecostal Church in Vancleve, KY.
She is survived by 3 daughters; Bobbie Elam (Mark), Ronda Williams and Donna Collett (Roy), 3 sons; James Saylor (Donna), Billy Saylor (Michelle) and David Saylor (Teresa), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, along with a special great grandchild; Caleb Eden. In addition to her husband and parents, Mildred is preceded in death by a daughter; Elevedia "Shiney" Charlene Griffith, 3 grandsons; Raymond Miracle, Kevin Shawn Saylor and Christopher Todd Griffith, 2 granddaughters; Shenna Saylor and Angel Kay Collett, a great granddaughter; Kimberly Day, 3 great-great grandchildren; Justin Saylor, Angel Miracle and Kaytlin McCoy, 3 brothers; Ronnie Estep, Donnie Estep and Bobby Estep, 2 sisters; Jean Martin and Katherine England, as well as a son-in-law; Dewitt Williams Jr.
Her funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2022 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Jerry Hanson presiding with burial to follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
Pallbearers are Jeremiah Miracle, Elijah Saylor, Kacie VanCleve, James Christopher, Blake Collett, Rusty Saylor and Daniel Saylor. Honorary Pallbearers are Dusty Saylor, Dan Miracle, Josh Saylor, David Saylor, Cody Collett and Johnny Christopher.
