Nancy Davis Becraft, widow of the late Charles Becraft, of Sharpsburg, passed away Thursday, December 16 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was a 62 year old born in Hamilton, Ohio to the union of the late James Clyde Davis and Mary Catherine Everman Combs, a housewife and member of the Christian Faith.
Nancy is survived by 3 daughters; Mary Hamm (Jim), Gracelynn Becraft and Raylee Pingleton, 12 grandchildren; Cassandra Dalton, William Dalton, Rebecca Hamm, Jesse James Davis, Christina Rivera, Brittaney Hamm, Whittaney Hamm, Brooklyn Richmond, Autumn Hager, Cheyanne Hager and Morgan Centers, 3 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers; Adam Davis, Charles Davis, Roger Davis and Gary Mills (Janet), a sister-in-law; Margaret Tabor, a cousin; Margie Day and a special friend; Grandall Watkins. In addition to her husband and her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a brother; James Edward Davis.
Her funeral will be 3:00 pm. Monday, December 20 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Gary Stith and Bobby Tabor presiding, with burial to follow in Fortune Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 19.
