Naomi Geraldine (Cole) Brooks

Naomi Geraldine Cole Brooks passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling. She was a 104 year old born in Montgomery County to the union of the late Robert G. Cole and Mollie Cole Brandenburg, a homemaker and member of the Church of God.

Naomi is survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by 3 husbands, John Gibson, Herman J. Walters and Elmer Brooks; 2 brothers, Fred Cole and Robert Brandenburg; along with 2 sisters, Eunice Fortner and Buford Huff.

Her funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastors Chadwick Curran and Anthony Brandenburg presiding with burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Cecil Trent, Michael Covey, Jack Cole, Gregory Trimble, Todd Trimble and Greg Tipton.

Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
