Nathaniel "Scotty" Martin, husband of Robyn Helton Martin, of Mt. Sterling, passed away January 20, 2022, at his residence. He was a 37 year old native of Montgomery County, a self-employed contractor and member of the Christian Faith. Scotty was a loving husband, father and wonderful son. He was an avid Bengals fan who enjoyed family, friends and life. He made a lasting impression everywhere he went and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, Robyn, Scotty is survived by 4 children; Kennedy Martin, Rylee Martin, Corben Martin and Haven McTush, his mother; Tina Turner Otis, his father; Nathaniel Dean Martin, his maternal grandfather; Allen Turner, 2 brothers; Shane and Chris Martin, a stepbrother; Shane Locker, a stepsister; Savannah Locker, along with extended family of many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother; Donna Rogers and his paternal grandparents; Richard Sr. and Jean Martin.
His funeral will be 3:30 Monday, January 24 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Mike Martin presiding with burial to follow in the Martin Family Cemetery. Visitation will also take place at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 23.
Pallbearers are Tony Turner, Tommy Turner, Shane Martin, Chris Martin, Chris Lucas and Haven McTush.
Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
