Nelson "June Bug" Willoughby Jr.

Nelson "June Bug" Willoughby Jr., husband of Bonnie Jean Hamilton Willoughby, of Jeffersonville, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021.  He was a 75 year old born in Montgomery County, Kentucky to the union of the late Nelson Willoughby Sr., and Elmeath Reffitt Willoughby, a heavy equipment operator and member of the Christian faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a granddaughter, Andrea Dawn Willoughby, a grandson, Jared Tyler Willoughby, a great-grandson, Steven Tyler Willoughby, 2 sisters, Margie (Mitchell) McCarty and Linda (Larry) Lukehart, and 3 brothers, Stan Willoughby, Wendell (Karen) Willoughby and Oliver "Red" Willoughby.  He was preceded in death by a son, David Nelson Willoughby, a sister, Myrtle Drake, and 4 brothers, Alvin Willoughby, Joe Pete Willoughby, Ollie Willoughby and Allen Willoughby.

His funeral is 2:00 Friday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Tim Morris presiding, with burial in Lovely Amburgey Cemetery.  Visitation is 12-2:00 Friday.  Pallbearers are Randy Thomas, Stacy Willoughby, Nathan Calvert, Jared Willoughby, Clayton Willoughby, Kevin Willoughby, Rodney Parks and Mikey Willoughby.
