Norene (Collinsworth) Williams

Norene Collinsworth Williams, widow of William Willliams, of Frenchburg, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling, KY. She was a 90-year-old born in Magoffin County to the union of the late Irvin and Lora Taulbee Collinsworth, a homemaker and member of the Christian Faith. 

She is survived by 2 daughters; Charlotte Clark (Thomas) and Diane Williams, a son, Mark Williams (Sandy), a son/grandson, Troy Williams,16 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Norene was preceded in death by a son Charles Williams, a granddaughter, Melissa Williams, and a sister, Gladys Back. 

Her funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Rocky Branch United Baptist, pastors Darrell Back and John Blanton presiding with burial to follow in Williams Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Pallbearers will be Clay Williams, Quentin Williams, Jeff Williams, Gary Ginter, Chris Martin and Mike Robertson.
