Ova Dragoo Obituary

Ova Jay Simpson Dragoo, widow of Sidney Kenneth Dragoo, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020. She was a 93 year old native of Richmond, Kentucky, daughter of the late Robert and Mary Ellen Singer Simpson, and a homemaker.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Donna (David) Stratton of Pikeville and JoAnn (Michael) Bartram of Wilmington, Ohio, 3 grandchildren, Jeremiah Dragoo, Chip (Laury) Roop and Austin Schneder, a great-granddaughter, Grace Roop, and a great-grandson, Isiah Roop. She was preceded in death by a son, Tom Dragoo.

Her graveside service will be 1:00 Wednesday at Machpelah Cemetery, Pastor Keith Ruthenburg presiding. Arrangements are entrusted to Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
