Patricia Chaffins Obituary

Patricia Ann Eichelberger Chaffins, age 69, of Mt Sterling, wife of Gary Chaffins, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, at St Joseph Hospital in Mt Sterling.

Born January 12, 1955, in Midway, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ora Scott Eichelberger. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Eugene Eichelberger.

In addition to her husband, Gary, she is survived by two daughters, Shannon Becraft (Jason Blevins) of Mt Sterling, and Michelle Bowman of Lexington; two sons, Gary (Stefanee) Chaffins of Jeffersonville, and Josh (Whitney) Chaffins also of Mt Sterling; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a sister, Annetta (Randy) Aragon of Newnan, Georgia.

Patricia was a homemaker and a member of the Mt Sterling First Church of God. She was very devoted to her church and scripture. Her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids were the highlight of her life and she absolutely adored spending time with them.

Funeral services will be held 11 am on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals; David Dooley officiating. Burial will take place at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will begin at 10 am until the time of the service.

Pallbearers: Gary Chaffins, Josh Chaffins, Andrew Yates, Tyler Yates, Chase Yates, and Chris Eichelberger.
