Patricia (Cheek) Razor

Patricia Ann Cheek Razor, 74, of Mt. Sterling, Ky, formerly of Bethel, Ky and widow of Fred Razor, passed away from natural causes after a short illness at the University of Kentucky Hospital on August 25th, 2021. She was born in Salyersville, Kentucky on December 24th, 1946 to the late Mitchell and Opal Cheek. She was a member of the Bethel Christian Church, a retired U.S. Postal Service employee and a former beautician.

She is survived by a son, Daran Razor of Bethel, Ky and two daughters Kelly Razor McGuire (Steve) of Mt. Sterling, Ky and Julia Renee Hager (Garett) of Nicholasville, Ky; 4 grandchildren, Geoffrey Catchings (Jacki Rice), Seth Razor, Braydon Hager and Rhett Hager; a brother, Jacki Cheek of Cynthiana, Ky; Sister-in-laws Peggy Calvert and Joan Cook both of Bethel, KY and several special nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband Fred Razor, she is preceded in death by her brother Mickey Cheek, mother-in-law Dorothy Whitton Razor Means, sister-in-law Sharlet Cheek, and brother-in-law Neil Cook.

Patricia's funeral will be Tuesday August 31st at 1:00 p.m. at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with Brother Steve McGuire presiding. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The family encourages wearing of masks to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Pallbearers will be Chris Cook, Garett Hager, Geoffrey Catchings, Seth Razor, Rodney Cheek, and Braydon Hager. Honorary Pallbearers are Jeremy Cheek and Rhett Hager. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Clark Regional Medical Center and University of Kentucky Healthcare ICU as Healthcare Heroes.
