Pearlie (Adkins) Caskey

Pearlie Adkins Caskey, 92, of North Middletown, died Saturday, October 21, 2023. Born April 1, 1931, in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Jay and Prudie Adkins of Dayton, Ohio.

She is survived by her sisters Brenda Tipton and Margie (Bob) Kelly of Dayton, Ohio; brother Bobby Lynn (Nancy) Adkins of Dayton, Ohio; daughters Donna (Gerald) Bailey of Olive Hill and Barbara (Phillip) Hawkins of Salt Lick, and son Ray Caskey of Salt Lick. Her grandchildren Melissa (Shane) Powell of Means; Wayne (Jennifer) Lykins of Jeffersonville; Tracy (Tony) Caldwell of Morehead; Christina (Ben) Bowen of Georgetown, Chris Caskey of Mt. Sterling and Crystal Centers of Paris. As well as eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Caskey and daughter Linda Shelley, both of Bourbon County, her son Charles Caskey and grandson Shawn Caskey, both of Montgomery County.

Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26 at Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals. Burial will be in the North Middletown Cemetery. Visitation is 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 25.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Lykins, Shane Powell, Tristan Powell, Morgan Powell, Tony Caldwell, Braxton Caldwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Shelly and Greg Lyle.

Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
