Priscilla Jane Parks Davis, widow of Donald Davis, of Clay City, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023. She was a 79-year-old born in Angola, Indiana to the union of the late Garvin Lavern and Mary Jane Mullins Parks, a cook and cashier for Bypass Food Mart, and a member of Villa Rica Free Holiness Church.
She is survived by 2 sons, Michael (Amanda) Davis and Brian (Jennifer) Davis, 3 daughters, Dinah Tuggle, Donna Henderson and Denise (Shannon) Kemplin, 8 grandchildren, Danni Fore, Dustin Kemplin, Dominique Whisman, Mackenzie Moore, Joseph Stacy, Logan Hargraves, Brianna Hughes, and Brayden Davis, 6 great-grandchildren, Henley Moore, Alice Fore, Novah Whisman, Ian Fore, Remington Whisman, and Jameson Whisman, 2 sisters, Margie (Jimmy) Gross and Henrietta (Ralph) Ferguson, a brother, Earl (Shirley) Parks, a sister-in-law, Jackie Parks and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Virgil Parks and Jerome Parks.
Her funeral will be 1:00 Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Brother Bobby House and Brother Ollie Taylor presiding, with burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Friday. Active pallbearers are Jim Russ Gross, D.J. Whisman, Shannon Kemplin, Andrew Fore, Brayden Davis and Josh Moore. Honorary pallbearers are Dustin Kemplin, Joseph Stacy, Chris Hart and Adam Hughes.
