REX BOLING

Rex Boling, age 70, of Mt. Sterling, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.  Rex was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on April 27, 1955 to the late Bruce and Irene Crabtree Boling.  Rex retired from Nestle as a warehouse supervisor. Rex was a Master Electrician. He was proud to have served his country in the Airforce.

Rex is survived by his wife Marita Caudill of Mt. Sterling; 3 sons: Tim Boling, Bruce Boling, Jason Boling; 1 daughter Andrea Boling; 2 stepdaughters Ashleigh Davis and Vanessa Jones; 7 grandchildren and 1 step-grandson; nephew Michael Austin; and his beloved dogs Buddy and Chloe.

Besides his parents, Rex was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals.   Visitation will be Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Herald & Stewart Chapel. Officiating will be Robbie Conn.  Military Rites by the American Legion Mt. Sterling, Post 22.

Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.
