Raymond "Cecil" Trent

Raymond "Cecil" Trent, husband of Anna Sue Trent, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was 78 years old. He was preceded in death by his late wife Lillian Snelling Trent. The son of the late Elmer Trent and the late Pearl Huff Trent. He was a member and deacon of the Jeffersonville Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife Anna, he is survived by a son, Randy (Teresa) Trent of Jeffersonville, a daughter, Kim (Brandon) Grillon of Wisconsin, 2 step-children, Nolan Whitaker of Florida, and Rhonda (Steve) Akers of Lexington. 5 grandchildren, Nicole (Jason) Hatton, Karie (Michael) Ratliff and Ryan Trent, Blake Grillon and Lily Grillon. 5 great-grandchildren, Grayson and Kaleb Hall, Zander, Zavier and Willow Ratliff, a sister, Joy Trent of Winchester, a brother, Jimmy Trent of Jeffersonville and was preceded in death by his other brother R.C. Trent.

His funeral will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
