Rebecca Jo (Foley) Myers

Rebecca Jo Foley Myers, wife of Paul Myers for 47 years, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021.  She was a 65 year old native of Montgomery County born to the union of  Henrietta Fletcher Foley and the late Erman Foley.  She was the Vice-President. Item Processing Director at Traditional Bank, where she was employed for 47 years and member of the First Church of God.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Angela Gray (Nate Hutsell), a granddaughter, Hannah Gray, a grandson, Noah Gray, a sister, Susan (Wesley) Wilson, 2 brothers, Timmy (Karen) Foley and Keith (Lorena) Foley and special cousin, Sandy (Fred) Shortridge.  Also her two special pets, Marley May and Willow Jo.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Foley.

Her funeral will be 1:00 Tuesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Lowell Rice presiding, with interment in Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation is 6-8:00 Monday.  Pallbearers are Wesley Wilson, Timothy Foley, Jordan Foley, Hart Foley, Jacob Foley, Austin Arnett, Carl Myers, Dwayne "Corky" Pitts, Fred Shortridge and Nathan Shortridge. Honorary pallbearers are Andy Baker, Josh Turley, Brandon Sturgill, Asa McCracken, Bill Alverson, Tommy Hunt, John Crouch, Cherie Colvin, Mike Hendrix, Randy Beckham, Cliff Stilz, Bill Bramblet, Cecil White, Elaine Highley, Ann Duff, Judy Welch, Audrey Harris and all other current employees and retirees. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
