Rita Faye (Richards) Trimble

Rita Faye Richards Trimble, born on October 19, 1958, in Montgomery County, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024, in Clark County, Kentucky at the age of 65. She was a devoted homemaker, known for her love and dedication to her family.

Rita is survived by her husband, Dana Trimble, of Winchester. Together, they raised five daughters: Tiffany West of Winchester, Charity Newlon of Winchester, Tanya (Chris) Cook of Mt. Sterling, Sonda (Randy) Holbrook of Morehead, and Priscilla (Steven) Hulette, along with one son, Robby Tingle of Frankfort. She also leaves behind her beloved mother, Yvonne Marie Crump Richards, of North Middleton, two sisters, Carolyn (Tommy) Purvis and Lorena (Eddie) Risen, and two brothers, William Cleveland Richards Jr. (Beulah), Stanley Dean Richards, and a half-sister, Brittany Howard. Rita was cherished by her ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Cleveland Richards, one sister, Christine Marie Richards, and one son, Daniel Trimble. Rita was a faithful member of the Ark of Mercy Church of God, where she found strength and community.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29th at the Ark of Mercy Church of God, Winchester, with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m.

Rita's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
