Robert "Bobby" Davis

Robert “Bobby” Davis, of Montgomery Co, age 64, passed away September 4, 2024 while coon hunting.  Bobby was born on September 4, 1960 to the union of the late Chavis and Eula Davis.  He was a farmer, a construction worker, a retired employee from the Montgomery County Road Department after 27 years and a faithful member of the Restoration Community Church.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Selina Birchfield Davis of Hope KY;  his daughter Jessica Davis Wright (Walt Meachum) of Mt Sterling;  stepchildren—Shelley Collins of Mt Sterling, Chris (Angie) Thompson of Mt. Sterling,  Cassie Haddix of Jeffersonville, Sheldon Haddix and Mack Haddix of Jeffersonville;   his 7 grandchildren—Mareya (Josh Smith) Wright of Sharpsburg, McKinley Wright of Jeffersonville, Brandon Curtis, Blake Soper, Logan Hahn, Xia Thompson, Easton Maynard;  his 2 great-grandchildren—Brynlee Smith and Mera Anne Haddix.  His Sister, Betty Clark of Hope, KY and his brother, Nelson Davis of Hope KY.  And a special cousin Tim Davis, Jr.

Besides his parents, He was preceded in death by his first wife Kathy Davis, after 43 years of marriage; 1 granddaughter Mila Jane Wright and 1 grandson Josh Curtis.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Restoration Community Church. Friends and family are welcome to visit Friday, Sept. 6th from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the Church.

Burial will be at the Davis Hollow Road Family Farm in Montgomery County.

Pallbearers will be Tim Davis, Jr., Josh Thompson, Stephen Thompson, Andy Sallee, Andy Amburgery, Shane Davis, Jim Purvis, Josh Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Sheldon and Mack Haddix and his Hunting friends.
