Robert Clay Mitchell Jr.

Robert Clay Mitchell Jr., of Mt Sterling, passed away Wednesday, September 29 2021.  He was a 46 year old born in Clark County, Kentucky to the union of Mildred Moore Mitchell and the late Robert Clay Mitchell Sr. Robert Jr. "Bub" thoroughly enjoyed watching wrestling in his free time, as well as being outdoors and scrapping cans. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by 3 sisters; Jennifer Sallee (Samuel), Janet Mitchell (Jeremy Henderson) and Robin Cottrell (Sam), along with 2 brothers; Douglas and Rodney Mitchell. Robert is also survived by 2 paternal uncles; Joe Mitchell (Sherry) and Mike Mitchell (Jenette), both of Mt. Sterling, and a paternal aunt; Sharon Tackett (George Jr.), of Jeffersonville. 

His funeral will be 1:00 Tuesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, with burial to follow in West Bend Cemetery.  Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. 

Pallbearers are: Joe Mitchell, George Tackett Jr., George Thomas Tackett, Tim Seales, Darrell Reddix, David Mitchell.
