Robert David Sexton passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 at his residence in Stanford, KY. He was a 61 year old born in Killeen, Texas to the union of the late Robert G. and Patricia Bragg Sexton, a retired Army Veteran and member of Grace Fellowship Church. He was a military police officer from 1980 to 1987 and a Clear Creek Baptist Bible College graduate, where he earned his Bachelors Degree. Robert was a loving son, amazing father and brother, gentle soul and a man of God. Not only did he serve his country and community, but also his family.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley Sexton, 2 daughters; Crystal Vaughn (Craig) and Heather Sexton (Chris), 4 grandchildren; Aaliyah Oliver, Breanna Oliver, Sierra Cox and Draven Moore, a great grandson, Garrett Thompson, 2 sisters; Kathy Johnson and Linda Sexton (Joe McGlothin), a brother, Bryan Sexton, his step mother, Lucille Sexton, 2 step children; Xavier James Clark and Elizabeth Marie Rose Clark, 6 nieces, Tonya Gotlibowsky (Steven), Katherine Marie, Madison Leigh, Amber Michelle, Sandra Kay and Kailee Cheyenne, along with 8 nephews; Jay, Dominic, Mason, Zayne, Timmy, Spencer, Scottie Beausoleil and Jacob Davis (Ashley).
His funeral will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Dean Scott presiding with burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Robert's family members and friends.
