Robert "Bob" Lee Bailey, widower of Barbara Humphries Bailey, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 at his residence in Sharpsburg, KY. He was an 85 year old born in Bath County, KY to the late Harvey Allen Bailey and Ida Bell Manley, an Army Veteran, master mechanic and member of Sharpsburg Christian Church.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Stephanie Bailey and Jennifer Bailey Griffin; a grandson, Dallan Griffin; a sister, Peggy Fryman; along with 2 brothers, Allen Turner Bailey and William Alfred Bailey. In addition to his wife and parents, Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Della Rae Conyers.

His funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Sharpsburg Christian Church, Johnny Baber presiding with burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church.

Pallbearers are Stone Barrett, Cooper Smoot, Travis Bailey, Chad Bailey, Danny Conyers, Morgan Conyers and Thomas Humphries. Honorary Pallbearers are Barry Fryman, John Dunaway, Mike Bromagen, Dean Humphries, Larry Fryman and Bert Gunnell.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that contributions be made to Sharpsburg Christian Church or Bath County Girls Basketball.

Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
