Robert "Bob" G. Sexton

Robert G. Sexton, husband of Lucille Gross Sexton, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at his residence. He was an 88 year old born in Panther, WV to the union of the late Elbert and Hurmal Gibson Sexton, an Army veteran and member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by 2 sons; Bryan Sexton and Robert Sexton (Ashley), 2 daughters; Kathy Johnson and Linda Sexton, 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 2 brothers; Roger Sexton (Laura) and Ron Sexton (Linda), 1 sister; Gladys Millsaps (Junior) and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son; Phillip Sexton, his stepson; William B. Cain and 2 sisters; Jean Paynter and Phyllis Bragg. 

A visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery.
