Robert "Bob" Gudgell Triplett

Robert "Bob" Gudgell Triplett passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024 in Winchester, KY. He was a 61 year old born in Bath County, KY to Jean Johnson and the late Bruce Triplett, an employee of Bath Medical Transportation, avid collector and member of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Johnson; 4 brothers, Bruce Triplett, Jr., Jerry "Bo" Smith, James "Firecracker" Johnson (Kennetha) and Brandon Johnson (Amber); 3 nephews, Jiv Johnson, James Albert Johnson and Jeff Smith; along with his beloved dog, Bella. In addition to his father, Bobby was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ollie Cook; a brother, James Thomas; his significant other, Sandy Whitman; a special friend, Brian Carr; and his dog, Devil Dog.

His funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2024 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be James Johnson, James Albert Johnson, Jeff Thompson, Jeff Smith, Brandon Johnson and Roque Gelladuga. Honorary Pallbearers are Bo Smith and Jiv Johnson.
