Roger Lee Otis

Roger Lee Otis, husband of Bethany Hunt Otis, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at his residence in Mt. Sterling, KY. He was a 40 year old born in Montgomery County to Roger Tipton Otis and the late Marcella Bowlin, a truck driver and member of the Christian Faith.

In addition to his wife, Bethany Hunt Otis, he is survived by a son, Conner Lee Otis; 3 daughters, Haley Marie Otis, Alyzza Shay Lucille Otis and Ryleigh Elizabeth Faye Otis; his father, Roger Tipton Otis; his paternal grandmother, Sada Faye Hunt; 2 step children, Halleah Hunt and Noah Roberts; a brother, Tippy Ray Otis; a sister, Maranda Farris; along with several aunts and uncles. Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Marcella Bowlin.

His funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Les Ingram and Ulysses Walton presiding with burial to follow in Homestead Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Don Puryear, Adam Ferguson, David Templin, Dustin Swartz, Jordan Willoughby and Perry Patrick. Honorary Pallbearers are Tippy Otis and Sam Templin.

Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
