Ronald R Nester

Ronald R. Nester, of Jeffersonville, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021. He was a 68 year old born in Frenchburg, Kentucky to the union of the late Milburn and Norma Spencer Nester, a former employee of Trane Technologies, and member of the Christian faith. Ronnie enjoyed UK sports, fishing, fixing lawn mowers, and spending time with family and friends.  

He is survived by 2 sons; Rob Nester (Holley) and Kevin Nester (Frances), a daughter; Angie Nester, 6 grandchildren; Braxton, Trevor, Lacey, Brock, Austin and Isaac, 2 great-grandchildren; Dustin and Kaylee, 3 brothers; James, Johnny, and Tommy Nester, 4 sisters; Donna, Treva, Brenda and Mildred, as well as his second wife; Dana Tackett. Ronald was preceded in death by his first wife; Debbie Nester, 6 brothers; Virgil, Roger, Linvel, Raymond, Lonnie and Ricky Nester, and a sister; Barbara Jean. 

His funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Rob Nester and David Ansley presiding, with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday
