Ronnie Rose was born 8/31/1951 and died 1/9/2024, at the age of 72. He was born in Franklin, Ohio, and was a member of Donaldson Road Baptist Church. He served with the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Olean Rose, two siblings Earl Rose Jr. (still living, Opal Rose) and Claudette Little (Ellis Little deceased). Preceded in death by his wife Geneva Rose and granddaughter Barbara Jean Havens and son-in-law Billy Turner. He is survived by three sisters Linda Brock (Otis Brock deceased), Charlotte Turner (Fred Turner) and Opal Rose (Earl Rose Jr. deceased) and three brothers Danny Rose (Rhonda Rose), Ricky Rose (Tina Rose) and David Rose (Tammy Rose). Survived by five children: Eloise Langenhuizen (Bruce Langenhuizen) from Columbia, SC, Joyce Fritts (Ron Fritts) from Lilly, KY, Angela Crouch from Corbin, KY, Cecil Crouch Jr. (Jennifer Crouch) from Florence, KY and Rhonda Havens (Jason Havens) from Jeffersonville, KY. He has seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
His funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Red Lick Baptist Church in Madison County, Pastor Cecil Curtis presiding, with burial to follow in Hayden-Rose Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
