Roxanne Whitaker Grapner, wife of Joseph Grapner, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at her residence in Jeffersonville. She was a 59 year native of Montgomery County, born to the union of Marlene Reed Trimble and the late Daniel Kelly Whitaker.
In addition to her husband, Joseph, Roxanne is survived by a son; Michael Grapner, 2 daughters; Kelly Jo Grapner-Fultz (Christopher) and Ashley Ratliff (Michael), her mother; Marlene Trimble (Roy), 3 sisters; Heather Trimble, Kristin Smith and Deborah Eccles (Wayne), a brother; Shane Trimble (Christina) and several nieces and nephews. Along with her father, Daniel, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother; Loretta Whitaker and maternal grandparents; Milly and Edwin Reed.
Her funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor James Fletcher presiding with burial to follow in Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Pallbearers are Michael Grapner, Michael Ratliff, Christopher Fultz, Chris Wells, Hayden Trimble, Shane Trimble, Zack Centers and Scott Young.
